I use burrs to signify uninvited things that may attach to our lives. COVID-19 invaded our family. My husband and I have regained our health. Sadly, my cousin, Michelle, never recovered. She did not die of a hoax.

This series looks at the treachery of modern warfare and protests the use of 'depleted' uranium weaponry by our military. As we assert our powers and ability to aid I ask whether we can ignore the side effects of our remedies: the pollution of our connected air and water streams and the human gene pool.
